Taste of Staffordshire Good Food Awards 2011.


Silver Service : Head waiter Pascal Brichet scooped a prestigious award for service at the Taste of Staffordshire Good Food Awards 2011. The 47-year-old, from Wolstanton, has worked at The Swan With Two Necks, Blackbrook, near Newcastle, for a year. His dedication to detail led him to win the service Science personal award for outstanding service.

The Frenchman, who moved to England 19 years ago, is responsible for training staff and overseeing service at the restaurant.

Pascal said: "I can't believe I've won. I am honoured to receive the award"

Also among the winners at a ceremony at the Staffordshire County Showground last night was The Three Horseshoes Inn, near Leek, which won an award for excellence in staff development, teamwork and training. The Terrace Restaurant, at Keele University, was runner up in the restaurant of the year (European influence) category.
