The team at The Swan with Two Necks, in Blackbrook, near Newcastle, scooped first place in the Brassiere/Contemporary Pub/Bar of the Year category at the Taste of Staffordshire Good Food Awards 2011.
And it hopes to build on that success with the re-opening of The Wayfarer pub, in Stone, in time for Christmas.
The empty building will be revamped and re-opened under the same name and more than 60 staff members, for the kitchen and front of house, will be recruited before it opens in December.
Assistant manager at The Swan with Two Necks, Ryan Maguire, of Madeley, said: "It is a £750,000 project. We want to revamp it and bring in a fresh menu.
"I feel that one of the reasons we won the Good Food award was because we are consistent. We are consistent. We are constantly trying to provide the best service and the best food for our customers and that's what we strive for.
"We also make sure we employ passionate members of staff to ensure our customers keep returning and it has worked for us.
The 26 year-old added: "This is the first time we have entered the competition and to have won is great. We are really proud."
